Monday, October 31 is the final day to enjoy a Neuron e-scooter ride in Red Deer and Airdrie. The winter weather has crept up so all e-scooters will be collected by Neuron staff before being checked and stored until spring 2023.
2022 was a remarkable year for Neuron e-scooters in both cities and our riders travelled over 310,000 kilometres. To date, the two cities have avoided a total of 49 tonnes of CO2 emissions.
The economic impact of Neuron e-scooters was evident in Red Deer and Airdrie, too. Seven out of 10 trips resulted in a purchase at a local business which amounts to an estimated $3.5 million spent. For a more detailed look at how Neuron e-scooters are helping drive the local economy, check out our 2022 Canada Prosperity Report.
We’re proud of the positive impact Neuron vehicles have made on the local communities and are happy to help tens of thousands of people in Red Deer and Airdrie get around in a safe, convenient and environmentally-friendly way.
Thank you to our city partners and riders for an incredible riding season in Canada! See you in 2023!
